I've watched it and it's a bit confusing. The original movie is also kind of confusing for me but at least it's scary, this new Ju-on is not scary for me, it contains some gory stuffs and if the person got scared easily this might be scary for them. Well it's fine at least I've watched it already during lockdown.

Jumpscare 3....2.....1....
i've watched the entire 6-episode series and i'd rate it 2 out of 5.

not a fan of how they laid out the narrative. many loose ends, it's really confusing that they intertwined several timelines with each other, which leaves you more confused throughout the story. they have not fully established what's what, few story arcs may have been patched up but overall it isn't really helpful if you see them in a bigger picture. you can't just see how it'll fit to the 'juon origins' that they tryna market. it's a weird experience which left me confused at the end. i'm not sure if i'd be interested to push through with S2
